Marcella

Marcella is based in Beckenham and is a Soft Tissue Therapist and Medical Acupuncturist. She certified at The London School of Sports Massage with a BTEC Level 5 diploma in 2017. In 2018 she trained in Medical Acupuncture with HePAG.

 

Having grown up playing sports and being active, Marcella is no stranger to injury. She understands the need for body work to aid in recovery. She also understands the need for treatment and regeneration regardless of injury or the level of activity one participates in. Daily stresses, movement patterns, posture and the like, can all attribute to disruptions in a person's overall well being, often showing up as a physical symptom first.

 

As a mother of one very energetic toddler, Marcella also understands the joys, stresses, and strains that come with parenthood. She sought regular treatment as an effective way to help with all the common conditions experienced during pregnancy - muscle and joint pain, headaches, stress, swelling etc - to name a few! Whether it's before, during or after and while it can seem impossible to find the time, Pregnancy Massage is a great way to take a moment and space for yourself, to relieve all those new aches and pains that aren't going away on their own. Leaving you feeling restored, reconnected and refreshed. 

 

Marcella offers general massage - deep tissue, sports, remedial, pre and post-natal - and soft tissue bodywork pulling from various techniques such as myofascial release and lymphatic drainage. She is always looking to expand her knowledge and training, enabling her to offer her clients the most effective treatment, tailored to their body's needs.
