Soft Tissue Therapy

Benefits

Soft Tissue Therapy

At BodyTherapy.Health the main treatment provided is Soft Tissue Therapy which also covers most touch therapy such as Sports, Deep Tissue and Remedial Massage.

Soft Tissue Therapy is the manipulation of the soft tissues of your body i.e. muscles, connective tissue/fascia, tendons, ligaments and joints. Soft Tissue Therapy helps alleviate your soft tissue discomfort associated with your everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions. If employed early enough after accidents involving trauma and injury, soft tissue therapy can greatly reduce the development of painful muscular patterning.

To provide my Soft Tissue Therapy we use a variety of soft tissue techniques depending on your needs, from neuromuscular technique (trigger point therapy) and soft tissue release to deep tissue massage and muscle energy technique. For a further description of these techniques visit our FAQs

In addition we also bring a variety of extra tools to the table from medical acupuncture* to dry cupping and IASTM.

* Medical Acupuncture not available at all locations due to local authority health regulations.
